Pain: Jonas realizes The Giver and him are the only ones enduring pain. The rest of the community lives pain free.
Perfect: Everything is made to be absolutely perfect. No Sunlight no pain
Control: They are being watched and controlled at all times. Everything has a reason behind it.
Invasion: The community is being monitored. Every room is a speaker and the Elders can listen if they want to.
Clueless: The community has no idea what is outside of this community. They have no awareness of anything. Jonas learns to realize this once given these memories.
